Is Preschool Home Learning The Best Decision?

Preschool Home Learning strategies are rapidly increasing, and now they all begin with children at preschool level. There are many reasons for this growing change this can be transport issues, the cost of childcare, problems with timekeeping, children with special needs, different religious beliefs and parents low expectations of the conventional schooling system. When making the decisions to home teach your preschool infant, you must ask yourself questions that may affect you and your child.
Growing personality
Praising and being aware of your child’s personality is a key factoring of homeschooling your preschool child. This will go a long way in helping your child to reach their preschool potential. Is your child outgoing and able to mix with other children or do they shy away and play on their own?  Are they wanting to play with other children or are they happy with just mixing with familiar friends and siblings?
On the other side is you playing the role of teacher. Do you possess the patience to constantly repeat the same material over and over until your child fully understands the topic? You obviously love your child without conditions, but you need to assess yourself realistically with your patience levels. Are you choosing to home-school for convenience purposes or is there another reason?
Having the commitment
Are you ready to spend the necessary time in providing the quality home schooling for your preschool child? There are a multitude of activities you will need to participate in during this time; you will need to be really honest with yourself when thinking about this. Will you be able to properly manage and dedicate the time without exception or outside distraction to teach your child? Be sure you can do this before deciding to take up this role for yourself.

Having the right materials and curriculum
With all home schooling there is a multitude of preschool supplies out there and there are many free resources being share by other parents who home school their children. When you are searching for such supplies you need to ask yourself whether you and your child are going to enjoy them. Will you be able to afford them for the whole of the preschool year? You will definitely need to have some of these supplies and not all will be free to you. And a well-planned professional curriculum will cost you potentially more.
Forming group relations
Part of any preschool, home school or any setting is having your child start the process of interacting and socialising with other children. When you take on the role of home school teacher for your preschool child, you will need to include this activity also. Often groups of home school parents in the community can come together to fulfil the gap with socialising. This teaches the child to wait in line and take turns performing different activities.

Having adequate childcare for other children
Home preschool teaching will require total dedication to your preschool infant. Do you have the right arrangements in place with regards to childcare for any other children during this important time? At times you may be able to handle both of these roles, but there will be times where you may need some outside help.
Conclusion
Providing your preschool child proper home teaching may be the best experience you can provide your child. But you must think very carefully and make sure you want to do this. If after some time of thinking you feel that you aren’t able to provide what is needed. Then there is nothing wrong with you choosing other methods for your preschool child. If you do decide to take on the role of home preschool teacher, try to do your best and give your child a better chance simply because you really care.
